Brief History...

Established in 1991 by the current directors, David Lloyd Contractors started after being awarded a contract with Welsh Water (now United Utilities) to maintain their water sites across north Wales.

Although the company was severely affected by the foot and mouth outbreak in March 2001, after work was halted for 6 weeks to reduce the risk of spreading the disease further, it has recovered well and is now going from strength to strength.

An approved contractor to local government and councils, David Lloyd Contractors has met the specified criteria and gained accreditation with the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and ConstructionLine. In addition, the company has attained the ISO 9001 quality standard with QMS Quality Management Systems.
